NIT-C leading in Ragam fete

CHATHAMANGALAM (KOZHIKODE), FEB. 17. The hosts, National Institute of Technology, Calicut, (NIT-C) was leading with 34 points when the results of a few contests held on the first day of Ragam '05 were announced this evening.

St. Joseph College of Engineering, Pala, was in second place with 18 points while Amritha School of Engineering, Coimbatore, was in third place with 12 points.

Some of the results of the events held today:

Extempore (Malayalam): first: Govt School of Nursing, Kozhikode; second: Zamorins Guruvayurappan College, Kozhikode; third: Calicut University Institute of Engineering.

Monoact: first: Government Engineering College, Thrissur; second: SCMS School of Engineering & Technology, Kochi; third: NIT, Calicut.

Movie Spoof: first: NIT Calicut; second: St Joseph College of Engineering, Pala; third: Amritha School of Engineering, Coimbatore.

Antakshari (Mal.): first: AWH Engineering College, Kuttikattoor; second: NIT, Calicut; third: Federal Institute of Science and Technology, Kannur.
