Training programme for officials

TIRUCHI, FEB. 19. A training programme for government officials to be deployed for special revision of the electoral rolls was held in the city on Friday.

The State Joint Chief Electoral Officer, P. Senthilkumar, explained the guidelines laid down by the Election Commission for carrying out the revision.

He appealed to the officials to extend their full cooperation in completing the revision process successfully.

Officials from Tiruchi, Karur and Perambalur districts attended the training session.

The District Revenue Officer, P. Senthil Kumar, revenue divisional officers, tahsildhars and deputy election tahsildhars attended the training.
