Case against vendor
The Traffic Inspector, K. Veeramohan, attached to the Sultan Bazar traffic police station, was reportedly manhandled by a vendor, Mohammed Mustafa, while the personnel were clearing encroachments at Sultan Bazar on Friday. In his complaint, Mr. Veeramohan stated that Mustafa picked up an argument with traffic police officials during the drive. Mr.Veeramohan alleged that Mustafa abused and manhandled him. A case was registered.
Suffers burns
An auto-rickshaw driver, Mohammed Hameed, was admitted to the Osmania Hospital after a financer, Amjad, allegedly set him ablaze under the Santoshnagar police limits on Friday. The Santoshnagar police registered a case.
Man deported
A toddy tapper, P. Dasarath Goud of Karimnagar was deported from Dubai after he was found travelling on a tampered passport. He was caught and deported to Hyderabad on Friday. The Begumpet police registered a case and are investigating.
