BIDAR, FEB. 20. The Department of Kannada and Culture will provide scholarships to institutions and organisations involved in pro-Kannada and other cultural activities in the district. Organisations that have been regularly conducting activities and programmes for three years can apply with documented proof of their activities, according to an official release. Those who had got assistance last year should produce utilisation certificate and detailed accounts for the account. Applications should be submitted with copies of registration certificate and copies of by-laws before February 28, the release added.
