Sources said that on receiving complaints that a few teachers have tampered with their marks cards to get appointments, senior officials in the department have been asked to look into the matter. According to a complaint received by the department, 762 teachers including, 40 in Alur, 48 in Arkalgud, 145 in Arsikere, 82 in Belur, 115 in Channarayapatna, 39 in Hassan, 101 in Holenarsipur, and 42 in Sakleshpur, have allegedly submitted fake marks cards.
