PATHANAMTHITTA, FEB. 20. The Department of Chemistry of Catholicate College here is organising a three-day national seminar on modern trends in chemistry at the college auditorium from tomorrow. Vijay Nair, former director of Regional Research Laboratory, will inaugurate the seminar at 10 a.m. George Varghese, professor, will preside over the inaugural function. K.N. Ninan, director, Medicals and Materials Group at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, will deliver the keynote address. The Metropolitan of the Thumpamon diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Church, Philipose Mar Eusebeus, will deliver the benedictory address. The organisers said that 250 delegates would attend the seminar.
