Two home inmates escape
Two inmates of the Government Home for Boys, Saidabad, -- Eshwar and Ajay -- escaped from the home premises on Saturday night. The Saidabad police have rounded up Eshwar while Ajay is still at large. No case has been registered yet.
Video parlour raided
The Hyderabad Police Task Force (Central) officials have raided M/s Video Palace, Narayanaguda, and seized 20 pornographic VCDs and 401 pirated VCDs of various movies. The video parlour owner, M. Shekhar, has been arrested and handed over to Narayanaguda police for further action, according to a press release.
Case against hospital
A case has been registered against the management of Care Hospital following a complaint from a native Chattisgarh, Bijay Agarwal, that his father Satyanarayana, who was earlier treated at the hospital, died due to negligence of the hospital doctors. Mr. Bijay who sent the complaint to Panjagutta police maintained that his father was operated upon at Care Hospital on June 29, 2004. Satyanarayana had opted for a special package of the hospital but was charged Rs. 3.6 lakhs. He died recently. "We're yet to ascertain the facts," police said.
