Kelman Award for ophthalmologist

CHENNAI, FEB. 21. The Kelman Award for renowned ophthalmologists, was given this year to Amar Agarwal, director, Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital, at the 19th International Hellenic Congress at Athens, Greece, on February 18.

Dr.Agarwal has been honoured with the award for his research on Phakonit, a technique by which cataract is removed through a 1.0-mm incision.
