ANANTAPUR, FEB. 21. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing the Paritala Ravindra murder case, today arrested one more suspect in the case, G.V. Reddy alias G. Venkata Reddy, a native of Anantapur, on the charge of harbouring the killers. He was produced in the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate court here and was sent for 14 days judicial remand by the Judge, A. Jayaraj. G.V. Reddy is the eighth suspect to be arrested in the case so far. According to sources, the CBI sleuths had taken G.V. Reddy and his wife into custody two days ago. His wife, who is stated to be working as a nurse in General Hospital here, reportedly treated another suspect, Narayana Reddy, who suffered a bullet wound in the action. Samples sought Meanwhile, the CBI sought permission from the court to get samples of blood and specimen signatures of five of the seven suspects. Counsel for the CBI moved a petition in the AJFCM court seeking the necessary permission. But, the judge postponed his decision for tomorrow. With the help of experts of the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) the CBI sleuths are learnt to have already collected some blood samples from the way through which the assailants claimed to have fled the scene. The CBI sleuths have also seized the records pertaining to the visitors' register for the last one year prior to the Ravindra murder from the Cherlapalli jail to identify the persons who had visited Suri, who is suspected to be the mastermind behind the murder.
