TIRUPATI, FEB. 21. The Regional Science Centre (RSC), in association with the Tirupati Jaycees, will be observing "National Science week" from February 22. The TTD's Joint Executive Officer, N. Muktheswara Rao, and the SVIMS dean, Vengamma, will take part in the inaugural, which will be followed by an Open House quiz for school and college students. According to the centre's project coordinator, K. Madan Gopal, competition in elocution, seminar, painting, family quiz, Young Scientist experiment and other areas would be conducted during the week. The week-long fete concludes on February 28, which is observed across the country as `National Science Day' to commemorate the Nobel Laureate Sir C.V. Raman's discovery, better known as `Raman Effect'.
