THANJAVUR, FEB. 21. All the six Rotary Clubs in Thanajvur will celebrate the Rotary centenary year here on February 23, according to Prof. A. Ramaswamy, assistant governor, Rotary Club. Addressing presspersons here on Sunday, Mr. Ramaswamy said that The inaugural ceremony of the centenary celebrations would be marked by a car and motorcycle rally. Besides, fifty beds would be given to the Thanjavur Medical College to start the Disaster Health Management ward. A centenary celebration meeting would be held at the Sangeetha Mahal. The District Collector, M. Veera Shanmugha Moni, would deliver the centenary celebrations address.
