Clear sky

forecast

Mainly clear sky with a minimum temperature of 17 degree Celsius has been forecast for Tuesday. The city recorded a maximum temperature of 34.0 degree Celsius and a minimum of 16.8 degree Celsius on Monday. The relative humidity stood at 20 per cent.

Forum on laser

technology

A patient information forum on laser refractive error correction technology (LASIK) will be held at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) from 11 a.m. on February 27. The forum is open to all and participants can have a free LASIK evaluation if they choose to undergo the surgery at the institute. Technical book

exhibition

University College of Engineering, OU, is organising a technical book exhibition on its premises from February 23.

The three-day exhibition will be open to staff and students of all engineering colleges in and around the twin cities. The exhibition will be open from 10.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Telecom

customer meet

The monthly customer meet of Hyderabad telecom district for redressal of grievances of telephone users will be held at the offices of all the Area Managers here on February 28. Customers can send complaints pertaining to service, commercial and billing matters by Tuesday, according to an official spokesperson of Hyderabad telecom district here.

SBH schemes

State Bank of Hyderabad has introduced `drop box migration' and `grahak mitra' schemes at its Mallepally branch. The schemes have been inaugurated by M. Ramaswamy, General Manager (Tech), SBH. The `drop box' scheme allows hassle-free cheque tendering and is accessible 24 hours. The `grahak mitra' aims at giving personal attention and responding to basic enquiries apart from encouraging migration to alternate channels of the branch, according to a press release.

German course

The Association for German Culture, German Centre, is organising super-intensive course and week-end course for the benefit of students going to Germany for the next academic session.

According to a release, the super-intensive course of six-week duration will commence on February 24 and the week-end course on February 26 for 12 weeks.
