PONDICHERRY, FEB. 22. The Pondicherry Pradesh Congress Committee president, V. Narayanasamy, MP today called on the Lt Governor, M.M. Lakhera at the Rajnivas today. The purpose of the meeting, which lasted for 25 minutes, was not known immediately. The party sources here said that it was only a `courtesy call.' Mr. Narayanasamy later said that an emergency meeting of the committee would be held under his chairmanship here on February 27 to discuss various issues of the party. He said the meeting would discuss the ongoing drive of membership and distribution of tsunami related relief to the affected. Mr.Narayanasamy said that the meeting would also discuss the unchecked criticisms by the former Minister, P. Kannan, against the Rangasamy Government.
