Syndicate Bank's loan recovery drive
COIMBATORE: The District Legal Services Authority, Coimbatore, and four branches of Syndicate Bank, Coimbatore Region, jointly conducted a lok adalat here recently to recover overdues from the defaulting borrowers classified as non-performing assets. According to a release, a total of 120 notices were served on the borrowers and guarantors to recover about Rs. 53.23 lakhs. Of the 70 participants, 43 cases were settled and awards were passed to recover Rs. 30.17 lakhs.
