HUBLI, FEB. 22. Mounish Mudgal has taken over as Managing Director of the North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC). Mr. Mudgal will be the first IAS officer heading the corporation, which was carved out of the parent body, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, five years ago, and the fourth to hold the post. The post of the Managing Director of NWKRTC was vacant ever since the last incumbent, Menasinkai, retired 11 months ago. Mr. Mudgal who belongs to Orissa cadre and had come here to take over as the MD of the NWKRTC, had to wait for some time before taking over because of some last minute hiccups.
