KOCHI, FEB. 21. Despite the BCCI President Ranbir Singh Mahendra's remark that the Pakistan cricket tour of India may be called off if the telecast rights issue was not resolved before the start of the series, the cricket Board secretary S.K. Nair today conducted a low profile inspection of the Nehru Stadium, which will host the tour's first one-day international here on April 2. Though time is short, the work on the pitch was going as per schedule, said Mr. Nair who is also the Kerala Cricket Association president. He also expects a big crowd from Pakistan, combining tourism and sport, especially for the Kochi one-dayer. "Many will be coming on a tourism package too. You can be sure the stadium will be overflowing," he said. The KCA secretary and the ODI's chief co-ordinator S. Haridas and the match convener T.C. Mathew accompanied Mr. Nair, who appeared to be happy with the work in progress. Our Principal Correspondent
