TIRUPATI, FEB. 22. SVIMS UniFest-2005, the annual festival of the deemed university, Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, will be conducted on the 26th of this month. The venue of the mega event, Sri Padmavathi OPD and Emergency block on the campus is getting a facelift for the festival. Cultural and sports events are already in progress. The SVIMS Director, G. Subramanyam, and the Dean, B. Vengamma, acting as the honorary president and chairperson respectively of the annual festival, are closely monitoring the arrangements for the function. Veena Noble Dass, Vice-Chancellor of Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam (SPMVV), will take part as the chief guest and distribute the prizes to the winners.
