NELLORE, FEB. 22. The district administration has made the necessary arrangements for the 10th Class examination, commencing on March 16. As per available information, 33,348 students are appearing for the examination this year out of which 26,131 are regular students. t As many as 147 examination centres, including 31 private centres, have been set up. Apart from 147 chief superintendents, an equal number of departmental officials have been appointed for the purpose. To ensure smooth flow of question papers to various centres, 16 route officers have been appointed and an equal number of additional officers. The police have been instructed to ensure closure of Xerox centres at all the nearby examination centres. Besides making arrangements for drinking water at the centres, first aid kits have also been made available in view of prevailing summer season. Arrangements have also been made for Intermediate examination commencing on March 9 for which 62 centres have been set up in the district. The RTC authorities have been asked to ensure prompt service to interior areas.
