Vinoop shines

BANGALORE, FEB. 22. Vinoop Manoharan scored 40 and bagged four wickets to guide Karnataka Institute of Cricket (KIOC) to a 61-run victory over Cambridge Public School in a Tata Coffee under-13 tournament match here on Tuesday. The victory helped KIOC secure a semifinal berth.

The scores:

KIOC XI 200 for six in 30 overs (Nirmal 47, Vinoop 40, Taha Masood three for 29, Sandeep three for 53) bt Cambridge Public School 139 in 26.4 overs (Ranjit 69, Vinoop four for 25, Manek Nath three for 33).

National Junior School 80 in 27.3 overs (Purushottam four for 14) lost to Bangalore Military School 81 for three in 11 overs (Vishahavel three for 27).
