Pattanakkad Purushothaman dead

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, FEB. 22. The renowned playback singer Pattanakkad Purushothaman, 54, died at the Medical College Hospital here this morning.

He was admitted to the hospital on Monday night following respiratory trouble.

Mr. Purushothaman made his debut into the film world through Udaya's `Manishada.'

The cremation will take place at the Thycaud crematorium on Wednesday.
