BHOPAL, FEB. 22. There was furore in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly during Zero Hour this morning as the Congress members raised the issue of a controversial book containing objectionable remarks on Jawaharlal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi. The Congress MLA, Govind Singh, was joined by other Congress MLAs in raising the controversial book issue immediately after Question Hour. The Congress MLAs were heard saying that the book was available at a recent book fair and was being sold at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party office here. The agitated MLAs entered the well of the House and began shouting slogans when the Speaker invited them to his chamber and assured that the matter would be looked into. The Chief Minister, Babulal Gaur, told the House, after the agitated Congress members had returned to their seats, that "investigations have revealed that there are objectionable remarks in the book".
