Training for cultural troupes

KURNOOL,
FEB. 22.
The ten-day training programme for cultural troupes from four Rayalaseema districts and Prakasam and Nellore districts has been going on at Jeevasudha complex on the outskirts of the city. A total of 90 artistes, each team comprising 15, have been undergoing training in performing the programmes related to the Government schemes and health issues.
The cultural coordinator of the Society for Elimination of Poverty (SERP), Praveen Kumar, is coordinating the programme. A total of 25 songs, eight dance dramas and four have been designed for sensitising the public about child mortality, suicides among farmers, health and other issues.
The training would culminate into a grand performance by the teams at Sunayana auditorium here on February 28.
