CHENNAI, FEB. 22. The Rotary International district 3230, Chennai, will confer the Paul Harris Fellow recognition and `Lifetime Achievement Award' on Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, at a function to be held at the Chennai Convention Centre, Nandambakkam, on Wednesday. The Rotary district governor, Benjamin Cherian, said his organisation was delighted that the Chief Minister had agreed to receive the award for her services to the weaker sections, empowerment of women, introduction of the cradle baby scheme, implementation of the girl protection scheme and establishment of all-women police stations.
