VISAKHAPATNAM, FEB. 22. The Ba-Bapu Seva Sangham observed the death anniversary of Kasturba as `Mothers Day' here on Tuesday. The former Mayor, D.V. Subba Rao, who participated as chief guest, described Kasturba as a great woman who had followed the footsteps of her husband and showed to the world the greatest duty of an Indian woman. The secretary of the Gandhi Centre, K.S. Sastry, appealed to people to tread on the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi. The freedom-fighter, V.R. Mayadevi, the Vintage Visakha president, A.R. Subrahmanyam, and the Ba-Bapu Seva Sangham secretary, Y. Ramani, spoke.
