HYDERABAD, FEB. 22. The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, at a high-level meeting here held here on Tuesday has directed that the 100-bed Ayurvedic Hospital be shifted to Sardar Mahal within six months. Dr. Reddy has asked the officials to ensure that the proposed complex is readied at Darul Shifa to accommodate the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH), which is presently located at Sardar Mahal and Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority (QQSUDA) to pave the way for the hospital. The Medical and Health Department was directed to take necessary steps to create adequate facilities for the development of both Unani and Ayurvedic hospitals and colleges. Dr. Reddy also told the officials concerned that any laxity in meeting the deadlines would be viewed seriously, according to a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office. The Minister for Municipal Administration, Koneru Ranga Rao, the Minister for Minorities, Md.Fariduddin, the Principal Secretary (M&H), and other officials were present at the meeting.
