Chain snatched
Two motorcycle-borne youngsters snatched away a gold chain weighing four tolas from a housewife, K. Vidyalata of Panjagutta colony, when she was going to purchase milk on Monday morning near her house.
Forgery case
Suresh, a resident of Maruthinagar in Khairatabad, lodged a complaint with the Punjagutta police alleging that a worker in an advocate's office, Srinivas, had fraudulently withdrawn Rs. 1.76 lakhs from his bank account by forging his signature.
Man dies in mishap
A 75-year-old man, Yadaiah, died on the spot when the autorickshaw he was travelling collided head on with another three-wheeler in Ramarajunagar on Tuesday. A resident of Vennelagadda in Jeedimetla, the victim sustained serious head injuries and died while undergoing treatment at the Gandhi hospital.
Succumbs
to injuries
A cyclist, P. Prasad (30), who was hit by a speeding motorcycle at Jeedimetla on Monday, succumbed to his injuries at the Gandhi hospital.
The victim was a resident of Gurumurthinagar in Chintal, the Jeedimetla police said.
