Letters to the Editor
Sir, The proposed Srinagar-Muzzaffarabad bus service between India and Pakistan is a commendable step in the right direction. It will certainly come as a whiff of fresh air for Kashmiris, whose sentiments, by and large, have been neglected in the various peace initiatives undertaken so far.
Rachit Anand,
Sir, The task of ensuring the success of the service is no doubt a challenging one for India and Pakistan. But both countries should take equal responsibility and must ensure that no new problem is created.
Soundara Subramanian,
Sir, It is good the two countries are trying to put behind years of animosity. The bus service and the proposed rail and ferry services will go a long way in healing the wounds of the affected families on both sides.
V. Sujalini,
