Court asks PGI to appoint new dean

CHANDIGARH, FEB.23. A Division Bench of the Punjab and Haryana High Court has set aside the appointment of Sudha Suri as the Dean of the PGI here.

The Court has directed the PGI Governing Body to appoint a new Dean in place of Dr. Suri within five weeks.

It may be recalled that Dr. Suri had challenged the decision of the PGI Governing Body declaring Dr. Sarla Gopalan senior to her.
