LUCKNOW, FEB. 23. Peace prevailed in Old Lucknow which saw clashes between two sects on Sunday morning during a Muharram procession which left three people dead and 15 wounded. One of the accused, Pervez, has been arrested by the police while two others are still absconding. An FIR had been lodged against three people -- Pervez, Haider and Sanam -- for allegedly opening fire that claimed three lives. Proceedings to attach the property of the accused had been already initiated. Meanwhile, contingents of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) staged flag march in the trouble-torn areas where the district administration distributed essential commodities in the curfew borne areas. State Principal Secretary (Home) Alok Sinha said one person has been arrested so far. ``The relaxation in curfew will be decided tomorrow morning after assessing the situation,'' he added. At least 10 cases had been lodged by victims whose shops and houses were vandalised and set ablaze by mob during the clash. District Magistrate Aradhana Shukla said essential commodities had been distributed among the people in curfew-affected areas. The district administration had ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident.UNI
