Congress women MLAs refute charges
By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD,
FEB. 23.
Six women MLAs of the Congress on Wednesday took objection to the outbursts of Penukonda MLA, Paritala Ravi's widow, Paritala Sunita, against the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, and others.
In a statement issued here, the CLP members -- Konda Surekha, Gade Neelavati, Sunita Lakshma Reddy, Gouru Charita Reddy, Swarna Sudhakar and K. Prabhavathamma -- termed unfortunate the remarks by Ms. Sunita. They alleged that she was trying to gain political mileage out of her husband's murder.
They pointed out that Ms. Sunita got carried away by the promises made by the TDP president, N. Chandrababu Naidu.
They asked her to submit whatever evidence she had in connection with the conspiracy theory.
