HYDERABAD, FEB. 23. The Assembly had to go without question hour on Wednesday due to the hangover of yesterday's suspensions and a fresh bid by the Telugu Desam for a debate on the murder of the TDP MLA, Paritala Ravi. As a result, the listed questions remained unanswered by the Government. Because of the continued disturbance, the Speaker, K. R. Suresh Reddy, announced these questions as postponed. The issues ranged from the use of camera cell-phones by students and repairs to Nagarjunsagar canals. Exasperated over the disruption, the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, suggested to the Chair to adjourn the House daily after conducting the business only for five minutes. He said: "The Opposition does not want the House to run, nor is it serious when business is conducted. People's issues are not allowed to be taken up. Ultimately, we are answerable to people. We have no objection if you adjourn the House everyday after five minutes of sitting."
