BANGALORE, FEB. 23. The city police are investigating the alleged kidnapping and gangrape of a 45-year-old woman, believed to be a resident of Austin Town. After being raped, the woman who was in an unconscious state, was thrown into a coach of the Rani Chennamma Express on Saturday night, according to evidence given later by her. The woman, who gained consciousness after the train reached Hubli, was admitted to the KIMS there. She told the police that she was kidnapped and confined in a house where she was repeatedly raped before being thrown into the train.
