Sony, TEN Sports to pitch for India-Pakistan series
NEW DELHI,
FEB. 24.
Leading sports channel TEN Sports and Sony, on Thursday said they were keen to produce the forthcoming India-Pakistan cricket series for live telecast by Prasar Bharati and approach BCCI for the purpose.
The companies threw their hat in the ring following the Madras High Court order to bar ESPN-Star and Zee Telefilms from the process.
``We are interested to produce the series and would approach the BCCI on the matter, though finer details in the judgement are yet to be seen,'' Sony India chief Kunal Dasgupta said.
On the other hand, Ten Sports also said discussions would take place on the issue. — PTI
