Dempo ends East Bengal's run

Dempo Sports Club, Goa ended defending champion East Bengal's unbeaten run with a 3-2 win, thanks to Renty Martin's hat-trick in the ninth National Football League at Nehru Stadium in Fatorda here on Thursday.
Martin, who was adjudged the man of the match, scored in the 10th, 46th and 76th minutes. Bhutia (21st) and Julino Martin scored for East Bengal. — UNI
