COIMBATORE, FEB. 24 . Teams of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption police carried out a surprise check at the office of the Sub-Registrar in Sulur late last night and seized an unaccounted Rs.11,500. It included Rs. 4,900 found on the person of a registration department official. Vigilance sources said that though the 66 registrations during the day fetched Rs. 96,290, only Rs. 68,692 was accounted for.
