COIMBATORE, FEB. 24 . The 13th annual conference of Vitreo Retinal Society of India (VRSI) organised by the Aravind Eye Hospital, here, at Sterling Days Inn Resorts in Ooty will be on till February 27. Paediatric retinal disorders including retinopathy of prematurity and retinoblastoma will be discussed. Dr. Thomas Lee from Cornell University, US, will give a lecture via teleconference on latest trends in retinoblastoma management. A trade fair of ophthalmic products will also be on at the venue.

No power

There would be no power supply in Peedampally, Kalangal, Pattanam, Pallapalayam, Kannampalayam, Nadupalayam, Chinna Kuyili, Naickenpalayam, Pappampatty on February 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to shutdown at the Peedampally substation.

In view of the electoral rolls revision, the Corporation said that if houses in the 72 wards were left out from number allocation, the occupants can inform the Commissioner, Anil Meshram, on ph: 2396026.
