BANGALORE, FEB. 24. Burglars made away with gold ornaments worth Rs. 6.65 lakhs and Rs. 35,000 in cash from a bank employee's house in Cambridge Layout in the Ulsoor Police Station limits on Wednesday. The police said that around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Minoti Chowdry, who works at Canara Bank on Mahatma Gandhi Road, left her house along with her son, Adithya. Around 3.45 p.m. Adithya returned from the school and found that the pad lock of the house was broken. On being alerted by him, Chowdry rushed home and found that the ornaments and the cash were missing. The Ulsoor Police have registered a case.
