BANGALORE, FEB. 24. There will be no power supply in some parts of the city on Friday and Saturday, according to a press release from Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd. Power supply will be affected between 10.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday in K.R. Industrial area, Vijinapura, Beniganahalli, Dargah Mahal and surrounding areas. Power supply will be affected from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. in R.M. Nagar Police Station, Muninanjappa Layout, Yeraiana Palya, V.M. Reddy Layout, R.K. Apartment, Hoysalanagar and surrounding areas. On Saturday, power supply will be affected from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Haines Road, Kemp Road, Spencer Road, Horamavu Main Road, Jayanthigrama, Jyothinagar, Kalkere, Agara, K. Channasandra, Horamavu and Brindavan Layout. Power supply will be affected from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. in Banagirinagar, Yallappa Garden, Srihari Choultry, C.T. Bed and part of BDA complex and surrounding areas.
Disconnection drive
Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd. (BESCOM) will conduct mass disconnection drive in Bangarappa Nagar, Dwarakanagar, Rushikeshanagar, Kaverinagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Bhavaninagar and surrounding areas on Friday. The drive is meant to collect power bill arrears. Consumers who have not paid the outstanding amount till February 23 have been asked to pay the arrears. BESCOM will conduct the drive on Saturday in Veerabhadranagar, Dattatreyanagar, Banashankari 2nd and 3rd stages, Banagirinagar, R.K. Layout, Padmanabhanagar and surrounding areas.
