The naxal issue

Sir, — The ceasefire between the Andhra Pradesh Government and Maoists provided a ray of hope that peace would return to the State, especially the north Telangana region. But the hope is slowly dying. Even as the Government offers to continue the talks, it has given the police a free hand to tackle the naxalites.
