Big win for SRI

TIRUCHI, FEB. 25. Southern Railway Institute, Goldenrock scored a 5-0 win over Dalmia Recreation Club at the Tiruchi District Football Association II division league match for the `Sathianantha Thevar Cup' at the Teppakulam Bishop Heber HSS ground. Amjad, Sathishkumar, Saravanan, Rajiv and Radhakrishnan scored the goals.

The match between Southern Railway Institute and Globe Football Club played yesterday ended in a 2-2 draw. While Selvamohan and Prabakar found the target for the Globe FC, Venkatnarayanan scored both the goals for the Southern Railway Institute.

In the second match, Kallakkudi Football Club got the better of Universal FC 2-0 via tie-breaker.
