SVU Vice-Chancellor forms monitoring cells

TIRUPATI, FEB. 25. The S.V. University Vice-Chancellor, S. Jayarama Reddy, on Friday put in place a dozen monitoring cells to `tone up' the administration. The cells to be manned by 22 chosen academics of the university college have been assigned a task each to focus its attention and achieve the maximum results.

Following is the list of the committees and the experts heading them:

Dean, Self-Supporting Courses: K. Narasimhulu, Dept. of Economics, Dean; College Development Council: K. Rajendra, Dept. of Zoology; Dean, University Development: K. Sivasankar Reddy, Dept. of Psychology. He will have three special officers to coordinate with each heading a cell.

C. Eswar Reddy, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering will head the campus beautification and infrastructure development cell. The Dean of Examinations: A. Krishnaiah of Dept. of Chemistry, Director of Resource Mobilisation: V. Chandramouliswara Rao, Dept. of Political Science; Director, Students Welfare: M. Hanumantha Rao, Dept. of Sociology, Director of Hostel Welfare: P. Rajasekhar Reddy, Dept. of Statistics, Liaison Officer: A. Varada Reddy, Dept. of Chemistry, PRO: M. Damodar Reddy, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, OSD: M. A. K. Sukumar, Dept. of English, Special Officer, SVU Schools: Y. Yagama Reddy, Special Officer, Women Welfare: K. Yellamma, Dept. of Zoology, Special Officer SC/ST Welfare: G. Savaraiah, Dept. of Economics.
