LUCKNOW, FEB. 25 . The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mulayam Singh Yadav, today announced an ex gratia of Rs. 1 lakh each to the families of the seven persons killed in a cylinder blast at a tea shop in Varanasi on Wednesday. Mr. Yadav also announced that Rs 25,000 would be given to each of the injured. He was replying to an adjournment notice moved by Shyam Dev Roy Chaudhary (BJP) in the Vidhan Sabha alleging conspiracy behind the blast which also left several people injured. A gas cylinder had caught fire and burst accidentally in a tea shop at the crowded Dashashwamedh Ghat area killing seven persons and injuring several others including three foreign tourists. PTI
