TDP MLAs call off protest

HYDERABAD,
FEB. 25:
The Telugu Desam MLAs staged a dharna in front of the chambers of the Speaker, K.R. Suresh Reddy, in the Assembly shortly after the House adjourned when the Leader of the Opposition, N. Chandrababu Naidu, was about to speak on the killing of party MLA, Paritala Ravi.
The demonstration was, however, called off following a meeting of the Speaker with the senior TDP leaders -- T. Devender Goud and Y. Ramakrishnudu. The Speaker reportedly explained the circumstances leading to the adjournment of the House.
