Four naxals surrender
Kakinada, FEB. 25. Three naxalites in their teens, including a girl, who are the members of the Konalova Dalam, surrendered before the East Godavari District Police Superintendent, V. Naveen Chand, on Friday. They are --Ganne Raji Reddy alias Santhosh (16), Bandakonda village, Velama Veerababu alias Ramu (18) Seetharam Village, Potthuru Manga alias Latha (19) of Makavaram village -- all in Addateegala mandal.
Our Vizianagaram correspondent adds: Kondabaridi dalam member, Arika Shayam Kumar alias Ravi Kumar alias Chinna Raghu (21) and two couriers -- Biddika Lavudu (22) and Biddika Kusudu (22) -- Pedantijola in Kurupam mandal surrendered before the Superintendent of Police, Swati Lakra, on Thursday. On their information, the police unearthed a dump consisting of a landmine, electrical detonators, wire bundles and other materials pertaining to landmines from Pedantijola hills under Neelakantapuram police station limits.
