Telugu varsity to present awards

HYDERABAD,
FEB. 25.
Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University would present awards of Rs. 10,000 each to the 10 best works selected out of the 286 entries for the eighth state level exhibition.
This year, 173 artistes from across the State had sent their works to the exhibition from which the jury selected 63 paintings, sculptures, graphics and drawings for the awards and display.
The artistes whose works were selected for the awards are T. Sreenivas, D. Nageswar, B. Santosh Kumar, B.N. Raju, Sanghmithra Sarma, Akshay Anand, A.B. Mahalakshmi, K. Ram Prasad Reddy, K. Partha Sarathi and Y. Sivarama Chary.
The exhibition and award presentation function will be held in March, according to the university Registrar, A. Gurumurthy.
