PONDICHERRY, FEB. 26. The Pondicherry Municipality has launched a website for the public to have a clear idea about the new assessment of property tax and to further simplify the system. A press release here from the municipality said the website — www.pon.nic.in/propertytax — had all details showing the entire list of roads together with their classification, types of construction of buildings, method of calculation of tax system and their usage.
