Fatal fall for former Yercaud legislator

SALEM, FEB. 26. The former DMK MLA of Yercaud (ST), V. Perumal, died this evening when he fell into an irrigation well in his field at Periyakuttymadavu in Valapady taluk.

The police said Mr. Perumal, while inspecting deepening works, slipped and fell into the well. He sustained serious head injuries and died on way to hospital.
