HYDERABAD, FEB. 28. An Assistant Engineer of Panchayat Raj Department, C.V.K. Narsimhulu, working at Badwel of Cuddapah district, was arrested on Sunday on the charge of accepting bribe of Rs. 2,000.
The complainant accused the officer of demanding bribe for issuing valuation certificate under the Food for Work scheme, a press release said. He will be produced before the Special Judge for ACB Cases, Nellore.
