TAMBARAM, FEB. 28. L.C.K. David today took charge as Assistant Commissioner of Police, Tambaram Range of St. Thomas Mount police district of Chennai City Police. He was earlier Deputy Superintendent of Police with the Tamil Nadu Special Police Second Battalion, Avadi. Tambaram has been made a range with an officer in the rank of Assistant Commissioner after Chengai East police district was brought under the Chennai City Police. Five police stations - Tambaram, Chromepet, Chitlapakkam, Selaiyur and Peerkankaranai come under his jurisdiction.
