Dry weather likely in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI, MARCH 1. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

On Monday, the maximum temperature rose at one or two places over Telangana, fell at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, north coastal Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at a few places over Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka, above normal at a few places over rest Tamil Nadu, rest Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, south Kerala and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

The minimum temperature rose appreciably at one or two places over north interior Tamil Nadu, rose at many places over rest Tamil Nadu, fell at one or two places over south coastal Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

FORECAST (valid until Thursday Morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Farmers weather bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Forecast (valid until the morning of 3rd March 2005): Mainly sunny weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
